Fire Poker

Here is my first Fire Poker. Made out of some rod and sealed with beeswax.

First Forged Blade

The result of four hours of forging and two hours of grinding/polishing.

I enjoyed every minute of it.

The holes need to be touched up, I don't have strong enough drill bits yet.

I was studying the blade when I accedently touched the tip to the belt sander and sent the blade flying towards the floor with not even a scratch! A bit surprising because the blade is very soft right 

now.    

Polishing before heat treat

The tip looks a little bent but its just the bevel that still needs fixed

The Blacksmith

This was made with Blender (3D app) and Gimp, Some times I really hate Gimp but if you have good patience it gets the job done. I cant afford to buy Photoshop so im stuck with it. 

Everything was made in Blender except the Smith, Tools in background and smoke.

My First Anvil

Perfect 80 pound anvil for forging knives. I got a  great deal for only $165. The guy I bought it from said he thinks its a Fisher, I have not researched it yet though.
